The end of COVID-era eviction moratoriums has worsened veteran housing instability, threatening a rise in homelessness—even as veteran counts temporarily dipped. However, according to HUD, the number of veterans experiencing homelessness dropped 8% to 32,882 in 2024—demonstrating the power of targeted, supportive housing programs.

At Sanctuary First Foundation, we believe even one veteran without a home is too many. That's why we offer transitional, program-based recovery housing, where women veterans can heal from addiction, reclaim self-reliance, and rebuild their future with dignity.
